چکیده

In this paper, we present a data-driven distributed model predictive control (MPC) scheme to stabilise the origin of dynamically coupled discrete-time linear systems subject decoupled input constraints. The local optimisation problems solved by subsystems rely on adaptation Fundamental Lemma Willems et al., allowing parametrise system trajectories using only measured input-output data without explicit knowledge. For predictions, communicated assumed neighbours. Each subsystem guarantees small deviation from these via consistency constraint. We provide theoretical analysis resulting non-iterative MPC scheme, including proofs recursive feasibility and (practical) stability. Finally, approach is successfully applied numerical example.

A hierarchical MPC approach with guaranteed feasibility for dynamically coupled linear systems

In this chapter we describe an iterative two-layer hierarchical approach to MPC of large-scale linear systems subject to coupled linear constraints. The algorithm uses constraint tightening and applies a primal-dual iterative averaging procedure to provide feasible solutions in every sampling step. This helps overcome typical practical issues related to the asymptotic convergence of dual decomp...

Dynamically Evolvable Distributed Systems

Software systems must change over time. Changing business practices, the relentless advance of technology, and the demands of end users drive this evolution. The functionality required of applications inevitably changes in response to these factors. Consequently, in order to remain viable, applications must evolve to meet new requirements. Software component evolution is a major focus of effort...

A distributed version of Han’s method for DMPC of dynamically coupled systems with coupled constraints

Most of the literature on Distributed Model Predictive Control (DMPC) for dynamically coupled linear systems typically focuses on situations where coupling constraints between subsystems are absent. In order to address the presence of convex coupling constraints, we present a distributed version of Han’s parallel algorithm for a class of convex programs. The algorithm we propose relies on local...

Linear Dynamically Varying Versus Jump Linear Systems

The connection between linear dynamically varying (LDV) systems and jump linear systems is explored. LDV systems have been shown to be useful in controlling systems with "complicated dynamics". Some systems with complicated dynamics, for example Axiom A systems, admit Markov partitions and can be described, up to finite resolution, by a Markov chain. In this case, the control system for these s...

Robust periodic economic MPC for linear systems

Economic Model Predictive Control differs from conventional tracking model predictive control by directly addressing a plants economic cost as the stage cost, consequently leading to better economic performance. This paper extends current economic model predictive control theory to linear timeinvariant systems with periodic disturbances and cost functions, under mild assumptions. To ensure an i...
